I really love this image Jet, I spent the best part of a year exploring sillhouettes and stencil work in all kinds of different mediums before starting to incorpoate the ideas into less obvious pieces...often I was using the bird and human forms to create compositions...in fact my profile picture of the blue horse came directly after these and I used my own photograph of a horse projected onto canvas, which I then drew around before building the image with paints and varnishes :-) To view the image again click here You may want to enlarge it and now you can see how easy it is to create such a simple but successful composition :-) Your bird goes into my favourites for reminding me of the importance of that time of exploration and experiment and because its a great picture :-))
